FACILITIES & AREAS
We offer a balanced curriculum of child-initiated and adult-led activities. Adult-led activities include story-time, music and singing, as well as craft activities. During your child’s stay he/she will explore various materials and environments including sand, water and outdoor physical play.

The children enjoy open access to all writing and mark making equipment small and large scale and enjoy choosing the tools they want to use, including card, paper, rulers, pencils, crayons, pens, chalks, brushes, rollers etc.
The children have access to books and stories all the time. They enjoy sitting under our fairy tale canopy looking at books. We have a large selection of both familiar and new story books and a range of information books too.
Outdoor Play
The children have free flow access to our secure outdoor area which include:
Climbing frames,
Balancing beams,
Flower and vegetable garden,
Mini beast area,
A stage,
and…
A permanent sand pit.
Our cafe style snack time (offered morning and afternoon) is a great success with the children. A healthy snack is offered plus 1/3 pint milk or water. Please let us know if you required a special diet. Your child will be provided with a water bottle so they can access water at any time during the day.
Please help your child to participate in every activity by providing indoor shoes, a spare set of named clothing, raincoats and Wellington boots on wet days, and hats in the summer.
